Western Actuarial Case Competition 2026 Ticket

This ticket registers you to participate in Western’s Actuarial Case Competition, taking place on January 24th, 2026.

ASUA is proud to host the 4th annual Western Actuarial Case Competition (WACC) on January 24th, 2026, at the Thames Hall Atrium. The competition is open to all students in the Department of Actuarial and Statistical Sciences, or those interested in business analytics – to solve real-world insurance-related cases and present their findings in front of industry judges. This case is designed to give participants at all levels hands-on experience with practical insurance scenarios while strengthening their analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills!

This year, the case will have large cash prizes, a beautiful venue, and industry judges and panelists from multiple different companies! The competition will include the involvement of judges and panelists from Canada Life, Sun Life, and Normandin Beaudry. Networking will be taking place throughout the entire competition with all judges and panelists involved!
