VentureX VC Competition

Students at Western are no strangers to case competitions. However, they don’t often have the opportunity to be decision-makers. VentureX is a unique twist to traditional competitions — students take on the role of a venture capitalist and choose between potential startups to invest in, then pitch why.

Teams will receive the standard information requested by VCs, but it will be up to them to obtain the rest in VentureX. They will find themselves needing to ask the right questions to startup founders and comb through company data rooms to put the pieces of their puzzles together.
