To the Chinese, a full moon is a symbol of prosperity, happiness, and family reunion. The festival is celebrated when the moon is believed to be the biggest and fullest.
We will hold a meeting to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival for those who are not struggling with university life and feel alone eating together. We are welcoming some new friends with diverse cultures to join in to understand the history behind the Mid-Autumn festival.
We will make a Mid-autumn festival market, including a lot of Chinese traditional games such as guessing riddles, making paper lanterns, and Taoquan (throw a circle and get whatever you get).
At the end, we will all walk outside the appreciate the full moon as our cultural tradition
