As one of the biggest healthcare clubs on campus, HOSA Western’s mission is to empower future health professionals. Whether you’re dreaming of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or any other healthcare career, we’re here to help you explore your passions and take real steps toward your goals.As a branch of HOSA Canada, our members join a national network of over 7,000 students who come together each year at the Spring Leadership Conference (SLC), the largest health science student competition in the country. Many of our members also go on to represent Canada on the international stage at the HOSA International Leadership Conference (ILC), competing alongside peers from around the world.Within our HOSA Western chapter, you’ll get access to bi-weekly workshops where we dive into different health specialties & skills to prepare you for competition, research mentors who can guide you through research applications, and advice from students who’ve already made it into medical, dental, and other professional schools. We’re here to share what works, answer your questions, and help you put together a standout application.But HOSA goes beyond simply a club to build your academic and career skills; we’re a family.
