Global Medical Missions Alliance

The Global Medical Missions Alliance (GMMA) is a Christian student organization made up of healthcare-oriented students and professionals who are passionate about caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. With over 70 chapters across Canada, the United States, Australia, and South Korea, GMMA offers opportunities for local missions, faith-based fellowship, mentorship from physicians, professors, and graduate students, and exposure to global missions. At Western, GMMA participates in monthly local missions and hosts Bible studies, prayer walks, retreats, and speaker panels that encourage students to integrate their faith into academia and missions. Students from all faculties who have a heart for missions, and who are at any stage of their faith journey, are welcome to join!
