Mental Health First Aid Course – FHSSC

This course is designed to instruct participants on the support they can provide to a person who may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being or a mental health
crisis.
This course will be held online and will consist of a module to complete prior to class, and a synchronous classroom portion held on March 2nd, 2025 from 9 am- 5 pm. If you do not complete the asynchronous portion you will NOT be able to attend the synchronous portion. Please note you will be asked to have your camera on throughout the classroom portion. Successful completion of this course will result in certification from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
The student price offered for this course is subsidized by the FHSSC. The course is only available to students in the Faculty
of Health Sciences. Please note, there will be no refunds issued.
