Brain Changes Initiative Student Chapter at Western University

Brain Changes Initiative (BCI) UWO Student Chapter is a student led community dedicated to brain health, traumatic brain injury (TBI) awareness, and building habits that help students thrive; academically, mentally, and socially.

We welcome students from all faculties to learn, move, connect, and recharge through events and initiatives grounded in BCI’s six pillars of brain health: aerobic exercise, cognitive exercise, nutrition, sleep hygiene, limiting harmful exposure, and mindfulness. From interactive workshops and wellness focused events to awareness campaigns and guest speaker sessions, we make brain health practical, accessible, and relevant to student life.

BCI UWO is a space to take care of your brain while building leadership skills, meeting like minded peers, and supporting one another during high stress times like midterms and exams. Whether you’re passionate about neuroscience, wellness, advocacy, or just want healthier habits, BCI UWO is a place to learn, grow, and feel supported.
